I had myself a hell of a week last week, and not in a good or bad way. Just so damn weird. We had a basketball game in a rain delay. We had a snow postponement. We had a buzzer beater 3 that cost some money, and watched an 85% FT shooter miss 2 of 2 when 1 would’ve pushed/covered depending on your line. This weekend ended up being a good one and I went 2 for 2, so let’s ride a hot streak into this week. Last 7 days were 4-3, lets have another winning week.
We’re starting off in the bowels of Division I Basketball. North Carolina A&T @ Florida A&M. I honestly don’t know anything about these teams besides record. NCA&T is 12-13, FA&M is 8-13. And NCA&T is +1. Love that line. The only thing that makes me nervous is that FA&M’s mascot is the Rattlers, A&T is the Aggies. That’s a no contest in that column, if you can’t come up with a unique mascot I automatically assume your school’s acceptance rate is >90%. But dumb schools make the best sports teams (looking at you Alabama). Plus, NC is Agricultural and Technical, while Florida is Agricultural and Mechanical. Mechanical deals with just machines, but technical could mean anything. More broad of a study means better recruiting. Honestly I like this bet the more I think about it. Let’s go Aggies.
